since illness has left me bed-ridden, infinite thanks to Purity Ring for making my beli happy 

(and by belly we mean kidneys. rawr.)

whoever thought hip hop would be their pot of tea?

(not that i would ever doubt them. i mean please, they're 1/2 haligonian)

but this is just such a logical transition. perfect. clean. 

I just hope and pray that they play this at the HPX show.

mounted my bows on my wall recently and suddenly i feel so much more at ease in this room. 

just listening to keith urban and zac brown band hoping i can keep listening to country music once the summer ends. 

strange putting up a post like this but screw it, i run this.

wierd to think of the amount of country music i listen to and the fact that it's never mentioned here. this is me mentioning it. 

also getting tickets to see Yukon Blonde, The Sheepdogs and Mother Mother. Purity Ring approaches. JEEPERS. Last time I saw Yukon Blonde they covered this song and we rocked hard. 

if you can't appreciate that harmonica....

Kito in particular. considering this aussie gal has released tings on Skream's label AND diplo's label ... what have i been so distracted by that it caused me to miss this duo

there's a big ol boost on her facebook page, read up here and she'll tell you how legitimately fresh she is. valid point. 

their kickin Sweet Talk EP is very rebecca & fiona-style, with sharp percussion, mad bass, melodic trance synths and haunting female voices. exactly what we like. 

if you're a sorta Icona Pop, Purity Ring, Rebecca&Fiona type like me, dig in PLEASE. 
i haven't found one thing by Kito that's less than perfect.

they call themselves future pop, i call their new single MAGNIFICENT.

when i say i "discussed" Purity Ring in the past i mean i pounded out some mush into my computer as i oggled all over the screen.

but they have NEW THINGS.

makes me proud to know there's such wicked electro Canadian talent.

but it wasn't until this article that i read that 

half of purity ring lives in HALIFAX.

my city just got a lot brighter.

Just the words "Ungirthed by Purity Ring" are enough to give you an idea of what you're in for. 

just little aftertaste of dubstep on those crisp claps with a hypnotic, twinkly lead synth.

feels like a Kaskade Ice Remix mixed with Sleigh Bells and something Scandinavian yet they're

CANADIAN

you know we represent.

chill but powerful and intense and magical. 

they only have 3 songs, all the more to anticipate their next release.
