PURITY RING is never overwhelming, and often sits comfortably between dreamy and powerfully electric, and i would hardly think that a remix would be necessary. 
but do we ever do things cause they're necessary?
this young American gent fashioned the perfectly subtle, clean dubstep vibe to compliment the new Purity Ring single. doesn't try too hard, just settles into a new familiar groove.

i prefer understated personally.
i'd rather a deejay risks his tracks being hardly recognized as remixes, and i certainly appreciate this tweaked version as a true triumph.

it's not about that.

it's about the perfect moment between strobes when all is still as salt.

all the girls dancing on the stage--irrelevant.

the confetti--irrelevant.

the sweat, the drunk kids, everything--irrelevant.

all that matters is the wonderful man who feels like he has all the power in the world in that soft glow from his laptop. in that glow is the thing that's changing the business of music, changing things.

all in that tiny light.
