DJ FRESH again.

thank goodness for some new

DJ FRESH

his new single is more electro house than the usual drum&bass which we would expect, but i think we're quite alright with that. 

super fun and summery with a killer drop and some spicy electro vibes.

textbook. 

what attracted me MUCH more however is this video of him performing live in camden.

the official single feels like more of a classic "Dizzee Rascal + (insert name of DJ)" track (see Calvin Harris, see Armand Van Helden) and although we always love this classic recipe, this video lends you a glance into a hidden side of the track.

in 4 minutes it has more time to build, you get a wonderful RnB vocalist in the intro and more of that killer indie funk guitar. 

so special to see a DJ who not only sings his own chorus, but has a loose "band" feel to his live shows. feels like everyone's sort of rolling around the stage individually, and Fresh just brings em all together. 

if i could see one DJ live. this man. 

in other news... i'm just casually sitting here full of wistful longing for the Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas. we're talking about the greatest intergalactic tea party of EDM featuring (but not limited to):
Fedde le Grand, Alesso, Kaskade, Afrojack, Ingrosso, Blue Man Group, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Bassnectar, Dada Life, David Guetta, Pretty Lights, Chris Lake, will.i.am, Hardwell, Knife Party, Martin Solveig, Steve Angelo, Benni Benassi, MSTRKRFT, Datsik, Flux Pavilion, Laidback Luke, Adventure Club, High Contrast, Zed's Dead, Doctor P, and everything good in this world.

not to mention Rebecca and Fiona roaming around enjoying themselves, (and probably supporting Kaskade) and filling Vegas with their Swedish charm. 

i'll just sit here burning with envy.

if you're there, soak up some trance for me and send me a dish sponge full of it.
